The Opportunity
Paramount Pictures' IT division
in Hollywood, Ca. has an immediate opening for a Senior Business
Systems Analyst supporting the SAP implementation in the Order
to Cash area for our Home Entertainment team.
You will collaborate with a talented
& committed development team as part of a fast-paced, customer
service oriented team working with people throughout the Company
to support the worldwide Home Entertainment systems for Paramount.
You will be responsible for the full analysis of system requirements,
configuration and enhancements to these systems along with ongoing
support.

Titanic (the highest-grossing motion picture of all time) -- as

franchises in film history, including Mission: Impossible, Star
Trek, The Godfather and Indiana Jones, are part of the Paramount
Pictures library. Paramount also co-produces films with Nickelodeon
Movies and MTV Films, utilizing their expertise with specific
audiences.

Paramount aims to create a carefully balanced film slate that
represents a variety of genres, styles, and levels of investment-with
the goal of creating entertainment with worldwide appeal. Paramount
Pictures distributes its motion pictures on video and DVD in more
than 45 countries worldwide through Paramount Home Entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Take a lead role on the SD team
supporting and enhancing International & Domestic SAP in
our Home Entertainment systems group.
- You will be responsible for
the full analysis of system requirements, configuration, data
conversion and support.
- You will interface with IS management
and business clients throughout Paramount Pictures local and
International offices as you analyze complex business processes
and system issues, propose solutions and develop additional SD
functionality.
- Act as a vital and daily source
for mentoring and information exchange.
- Function collaboratively as
part of a fast-paced, customer oriented team and perform effectively
as an independent producer under broad management direction.
Qualifications
- Approximately 3-5+ years of
hands-on SAP configuration and support experience in SD module
- Minimum experience on 1 full life cycle SAP implementation
- Knowledge of integrating with
other modules: MM, FI/CO and BW
- Configuration experience should
cover sales document types, pricing, copy control, shipping,
transportation, billing, output determination, partner determination,
master data (customer master, material master, info records),
availability check, account determination
- Strong functional knowledge
of the Order, Delivery and Billing processes within SAP
- Knowledge of Inventory balancing
and Returns processes
- Experience with inbound and
outbound EDI/Idoc processing will be advantageous
- Strong SAP (version 4.6+) technical
knowledge
- Flexibility and expediency in
learning new modules as required
- Must have the ability to manage
multiple projects and engineering team in a very dynamic environment
and see the correlation of the individual items and its impact
on the "big picture".
- Ability to develop and maintain
collaborative relationships among all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrates willingness to
support team on all levels to get the job done.
- Excellent organizational and
project management skills are required.
- Strong verbal communication
and relationship building skills are critical to effectively
communicate with technical and non-technical computer clients
and other parties.
- Be capable of working independently
under broad management direction as well as part of a diversified
team
- Proficiency in MS Office and
MS Project
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
work experience required
Other information:
Paramount's hours are 9:00 AM
- 6:00 PM. The position may require longer hours depending on
the workload; however, it is not a "cultural mandate"
that employees work excessive hours! You will work on site at
the Hollywood studio lot; no travel is involved.
