Led hospital efforts to provide community education and outreach services in the East San Gabriel Valley. Held multiple leadership positions in Chambers of Commerce, not-for-profit organizations and local community agencies, integrating the hospital into the community.

Developed 125 health fairs, immunization clinics, health screening programs, senior expos and community events involving 150 community agencies, reaching 200,000 community members.

Instructed health education classes, including stress management, arthritis and fibromyalgia self-help, cancer prevention, and breast health classes for 1,500 participants.
